Historical Significance
Operating since 1922, this is El Paso's oldest continuously operating hotel. Bank robber John Dillinger stayed in room 221 in 1934, and author Cormac McCarthy wrote several books while living here during the 1970s-1980s. The building features original mosaic tile floors and vintage architectural details throughout.
